Description: Kids capoeira at Roda Movements focus on developing motor skills and cooperation with peers through learning the basic movements of Capoeira such as kicks, defenses and acrobatic movements along with songs and musical instruments. After about a year and/or having obtained the first cord the child is eligible to enter the Intermediate Capoeira class.

Memberships require a minimum 6 month commitment.
Designed for children all skill levels ages 6-11. Children can expect basic movements such as, Including beginner and intermediate levels, that means that kids that are taking beginner classes also can take this class:
- kicks and spins
- Develop coordination, balance and flexibility
- Exploring Brazilian culture and music such a drumming and singing.
Kids Capoeira Beginner (Ages 6-11):
- No prior experience necessary
- Objectives:
- Learn basic Capoeira fundamentals
- Develop motor skills, coordination, and balance
- Foster self-confidence and discipline
- Have fun exploring Brazilian culture
- Course content:
- Basic movements: kicks, dodges, spins, and arm movements
- Interactive games and activities to develop skills
- Introduction to Capoeira music and instruments
- Dynamic and fun classes with a focus on safety and mutual respect
At this level, kids will learn basic Capoeira concepts in a fun and accessible way, with a focus on skill development and building self-confidence.
* After a month of classes students are required to wear the capoeira uniform to class.
Kids Capoeira Intermediate (Ages 6-11):
- Prerequisite: One year of Capoeira experience or have at least the 1st Capoeira belt
- Objectives:
- Refine and master basic movements
- Learn intermediate techniques: escapes, kicks and acrobatics
- Develop musicality and rhythm
- Improve physical conditioning and flexibility
- Enhance focus, discipline, and self-expression
- Course content:
- Advanced movements: complex kicks, spins, and combinations
- Partner work: learn to interact with fellow students
- Music and instruments: explore rhythms and play instruments
- Game-based training: apply skills in dynamic scenarios
- Conditioning and flexibility exercises: improve overall fitness
