Kids capoeira focus on developing motor skills and cooperation with peers through learning the basic movements of Capoeira such as kicks, defenses and acrobatic movements along with songs and musical instruments. After about a year and/or having obtained the first cord the child is eligible to enter the level 2 Capoeira class.

Classes focus on developing motor skills in this fun introduction to the basic movements of Capoeira. Toddlers engage in floor exercises and end the class with learning songs, playing the drums and tambourines. Parent participation or presence is required for this class. .

Along with learning Capoeira, your child will get a chance to do gymnastics, learn music, dance and drumming from Latin America and participate in fun craft & food activities. We will also visit the local park and enjoy plenty of outdoor fun! Campers should pack a lunch and Roda will provide a morning and afternoon snack. There is no after hours care available for this particular camp.
